Mr. Abener M. Balatbat held the position of First Vice President under the Corporate Banking Group of Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation. As a Relationship Manager for several years, he managed accounts ranging from conglomerates and commercial accounts to medium and small enterprises. The big-ticket accounts he handled include the Ayala Group, PLDT Group, Lopez Group and Metrobank Group. He also functioned as Head of Ortigas Lending Center in RCBC’s Small and Medium Enterprise Division.
He is seasoned in the various aspects of account management from new client acquisition, loan structuring and relationship deepening to remedial management. He has acquired a good understanding of companies involved in various industries, such as, manufacturing, retailing, lending, logistics, real estate and power generation.
He is adept in account handling as a result of conducting due diligence, performing financial analysis, and applying risk management in effectively overseeing the quality, profitability and growth of his loan portfolio. He is highly experienced in arranging credit facilities from packaging revolving credit lines and term loans to structuring loan syndications and project finance.
He completed, among others, the Leadership Development Program course by John Clements Consultant, Inc. being offered to RCBC’s senior officers.
Prior to his employment with RCBC, he had the opportunity of working in several other major banks, namely, Philippine National Bank, Union Bank, China Banking Corporation and the Saudi British Bank (HSBC, Riyadh).
Mr. Balatbat graduated from the University of the Philippines (Diliman) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. He finished his MBA from the Ateneo de Manila University. He is a candidate for a Doctorate of Business Administration course from the De La Salle University.
Atty. Emily Sibulo-Hayudini is a highly accomplished lawyer with over four decades of experience in legal practice, corporate governance, and social advocacy. She is currently a solo law practitioner, corporate secretary/legal consultant at SEAOIL Philippines, Inc. Group of Companies and Novel Securities Inc. She is also an accredited court mediator at The Philippine Judicial Academy of the Supreme Court.
Her extensive work experience includes various positions at the Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation, Inc. (RCBC), where she was the head and First Vice-President of Remedial Management & Special Assets Department (REMSAD), responsible for the bank's non-performing loans nationwide. She has also served as a lecturer and resource speaker at the Ateneo Institute of Banking and other banks, insurance companies, and government agencies.
She is also actively involved in various social and civic organizations, including serving as a trustee/corporate secretary of SEAOIL Foundation, Inc., a trustee of the ZONTA Club of Muntinlupa City and Environs, Inc., and president of Sigla ng Buhay Foundation, Inc. She is also the chair of the ZCME Education and Scholarship Committee, which grants scholarships to deserving but financially disadvantaged female students.
Atty Hayudini graduated from the University of the Philippines with a degree in Political Science and later earned her Bachelor of Laws from the UP College of Law. After obtaining her law degree, she pursued a Master of Laws degree at the University of Michigan as a De Witt Fellow Scholar. She is a member of the Philippine Bar, the New York Bar, and the UP Women Lawyer's Circle. She is also a lifetime member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines.
